Getting Started
Import from Pocket, Raindrop, or bookmarks
Bring your existing reading list into ReadHiiv with an import job.
Switching from another read-it-later app? ReadHiiv can import your existing library so you do not start from zero.
Supported sources
- Pocket — export your data from Pocket, then upload the export file.
- Raindrop.io — upload a Raindrop export.
- Browser bookmarks — upload a standard bookmarks HTML export.
- OPML — import feed subscriptions from any RSS reader (see the RSS & Feeds section).
Running an import
- Open Settings and, under Your library, choose Import… beside "Bring articles in".
- Choose the source and upload your export file.
- The import runs in the background — you can keep using ReadHiiv while it works. The sidebar shows it is importing.
- Choose See imports in the same row for progress, and for why any item failed.
Free accounts can run 1 import job with up to 200 items. Pro removes these limits — handy for large Pocket archives.
