Reading & Highlights
Inbox, Read Later, and Archive
How the three-stage reading pipeline keeps your list manageable.
Every article in ReadHiiv is in one of three states. Moving items through this pipeline is what keeps a reading list useful instead of overwhelming.
- Inbox — where everything you save lands. Treat it as a triage area, not a to-do list.
- Read Later — your deliberate queue: things you looked at and genuinely intend to read.
- Archive — everything you have finished, or consciously decided to skip. Archived items stay searchable.
Bulk actions
Tick the box on any article, or choose Select all, and a bar appears with that list’s moves, Tag, and Delete. A periodic bulk-archive of stale Inbox items is the fastest way to keep your list honest.
Deleted articles are removed from your library. If you only want something out of the way, archive it instead — the archive is designed to hold everything.
